I’m Emily.

A certified coach, HR professional, and introvert. My mission is to help other introverts reach their full potential, personally and professionally.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with countless introverts to help them embrace their strengths and to bring more of themselves to what they do. They are they inspiration behind Caim Coaching.

My story.

I’ve been an early rising, sensitive introvert my whole life. Only over the past few years have I had the language and excitement to fully own that statement.

Here’s what you should know…

Growing up:

  • Enjoyed listening over talking and getting to know people on a more personal level. Felt things more deeply than most

  • Was a good student, but with a ton of anxiety being in the spotlight. So much preparation and rehearsing ensued to combat my inner critic

  • Was told that I was quiet, sensitive, and not assertive enough. Began to internalize messages of being “deficient”

Early adult life:

  • Continued outwardly achieving, while waging an internal war of my own: a mix of self doubt, overwhelm, and pressure to achieve more and care less

  • Worked in a series of fast paced, extroverted workplaces. Constantly felt drained and like I didn’t quite fit in. Saw extroverts gain more promotions and accolades, while I felt stagnant. Equated these advances as a sign that I didn’t have what it took to be successful

  • Had one extraordinary boss who saw my worth and helped me to shift my narrative

Mid-Career to Now:

  • I gratefully embrace and lead with my introvert strengths: Specifically, in the following areas:

    • Communication: Speak with conviction and have others hear me and remember my presence, ask powerful questions to spark better conversations, cut through the noise, and arrive at the right answers for myself and others

    • Relationships Build deep relationships rooted in trust and meaning, make others feel safe and heard, remember details and moments from conversations that most miss

    • Ability to Adapt: When needed, I can flex my extroverted muscles to arrive at a particular goal. I’m able to do so in a way that no longer depletes me

    • Intuition: Intuitively understand how individuals and groups are feeling, more readily access my creative side

    • Overall Energy, Self Awareness & Self Care: Create the right boundaries so that I’m able to care for myself & others, put less pressure on myself, do more of what I love without experiencing the past self doubt and burn out
